Some 2022 and many 2023+ vehicles built after 02/2022 were equipped with TCUs which have a locked “401” bootloader, previously limiting tuning options. Unitronic’sUnlocked DQ381.2 TCUcomes ready to plug-n-play into your vehicle with Unitronic’s TCU Performance Software.

With the proper tools, equipment, and guidance, this TCU swap is straightforward for most. For added convenience, Unitronic also offers an optionalService Kit, which includes all necessary fluids and hardware needed to detach the TCU from the mechatronic unit and perform a gearbox service. At this stage, enthusiasts can also opt to replace the failure-prone plastic oil tubes with Unitronic’s high-strength CNC machinedOil Tubesas well.
